REEEC joins the U.N. Human Rights Council (HRC) in Geneva and the United States government in expressing extreme concern about the dire humanitarian and human rights crisis impacting the Armenian residents of Nagorno-Karabakh and those who have fled the region. In its October 11 statement, the HRC urges all countries to provide assistance to those displaced by this conflict, and to work to safeguard the cultural and religious heritages and human rights of all concerned. For our part, we have created a list of resources for those wishing to know more about the region and this evolving crisis, as well as a list of ways to donate to support those affected by it.
